Re: Carrol injured again
Arguably our best player? Carroll? Seriously?
He's affective one dimensionally, with his nut. Ever since Payet left that main supply line has gone, nobody seems capable of getting in a good cross nevermind trying at the moment.

Sakho is the best striker we have, he has far more strings to his bow - not reliant purely on crosses to score. He has pace, good feet and decent header. If he had been injury free and playing with Payet he'd have scored a hat full.

Yep. Your argument makes no sense. Are you suggesting that if he was a sub he would never get injured. If he's fit he's arguably our best player, and certainly our best striker, so of course he should start. I'm not the cunt.

Re: Carrol injured again
Calleri's so bad no-one sane will buy him.

I think the plan is to play him so often that eventually we'll be able to cherry-pick wonderful moments appearing to show his supposed tremendous skill, edit out the cock-ups either side of the wonderful moments and produce a DVD showcasing him.

The Earth is due to swallowed by the Sun in several billion years - the DVD should be ready well before then

Pd, to be fair he was being called injury prone when he was still averaging a good number of games. But yes, i ll admit he's injury prone now.

Hang on, i heard he was our 20 goal striker on who.

Re: Carrol injured again
This has got way beyond a joke and the club have to now work on the assumption that Carroll will never be fit. So even though we're having to pay him a ridiculous salary for another two years they have to consider him as only a back up player. The same goes for Sakho.
Alternatively, if the club by some miracle can flog one or either of them for any kind of money, then they need to do it. And while they're at it get rid of Calleri as well.
So in the Summer our owners have no choice but to buy two quality strikers who are not made of Royal Dalton. But I shan't be holding my breath.

Get rid ASAP a total fucking waste of a huge salary.

I'm sure some cunt came on here when he managed 5 games in a row, slagging everyone off who dared suggest he should never be considered as anything other than an impact sub, because he's made of glass?

Re: Carrol injured again
I'm done with this cunt now. Fucking melt him down and recycle him into something more useful. Toilet paper or something.

Three forwards needed this summer at least. Chance of this happening: 0

Re: Carrol injured again
Hate to say it, but the wages would be better spent on someone that has a more normal fitness record...
Could say the same for Sakho, our 2 best forwards...

Re: Carrol injured again
Sadly the only way to get rid of him now is pay the remainder of his contract up and release him on a free.

Not one club on the planet is stupid enough to pay money for him. Surely

Re: Carrol injured again
Sell him to China?? The bloke must be made out of fucking China!

Offload at a loss or free or whatever. This is beyond a shit joke. The longer Slav keeps planning to use him is time he could spend getting a fit player ready. Don't care who. Just play a few fucking
Games back to back.

Re: Carrol injured again
No, our other main striker I'd unfit and has refused to play.
If only the genius owners had hindsight in January. Oh.
We do have Snodgrass though. Oh.

Re: Carrol injured again
He wouldn't have been much good against Everton anyway he's too slow against these quick hustling sides!

Ayew up front on his own? Any room for Sakho?

Ag! Good shout, Woody. So you finally admit he's injury prone then Penners, you take your time son.

Re: Carrol injured again
It's probably not a bad time for it to happen

Had he played 90% of the last 12 games of the season, the porn twins would have been rubbing their hands together thinking they wouldn't need to pay out for a striker. If he misses the rest of the season (which not doubt it likely) then it will force their hand
